Tallinn's Children's Hospital Modernized with U.S. Aid


Through a U.S. Government grant, the Intensive Care Unit at Tallinn's Children's Hospital was thoroughly modernized, the American Embassy announced today. With a grant of $60,000 from the U.S. Government, Estonian contractors provided the new medical equipment and carried out the work needed to modernize Children's Hospital's Intensive Care Unit.

The new facility will be officially opened on Wednesday, September 2, 1998 at 14:00. Dr. Merike Martinson, Director of Children's Hospital, welcomes media attendance at the opening ceremony.
