New York artist and curator Claudia will hold two art exhibits in Tallinn Art Hall (Tallinna Kunstihoone, Vabaduse väljak 6) from Jan. 24 through Feb. 22.

The exhibit "Women of the World" addresses the question, "What Does It Mean to Be a Woman?"
Women from 177 countries contributed their artwork to Ms. DeMonte's travelling collection, which will be exhibited in Tallinn. Estonia is represented in the exhibit by Katrin Pere. At the same time, DeMonte will also open her own art exhibit, entitled "Retrospective."

The Embassy has issued a grant to Tallinn Art Hall to support Claudia De Monte ' s exhibit in Tallinn.
